About Kerry Moncla

I was born and raised in the Southeast Texas area (Beaumont, TX to be exact). I graduated high school in 1994 where I then attended Texas A&M University. It is here that I met my wife, Gail Moncla, in 1996. After receiving my Bachelor's Degree in 1998 and Master's Degree in 2001 from Texas A&M, I moved to several locations including Huntsville, Alabama and Houston, TX for work. Gail and I eventually landed in Houston, TX in 2001 and were married in 2002. In late 2003 after receiving my real estate license, I began my real estate career at Prudential Gary Greene Realtors in the Near Northwest / Garden Oaks area of Houston. In my first year I won the Rookie of the Year award given to the first year agent with the highest sales production in the entire Houston region which was quite a big honor for me. After approximately 3.5 years as an agent at Prudential Gary Greene, I moved back to my home town of Beaumont, TX in mid 2007 and teamed up with the Taryn Hebert Team at RE/MAX ONE. I worked with the Taryn Hebert Team as an independent agent until 2012. I moved off the team and have been my own agent at RE/MAX ONE from 2012 to present. In that span I have been a consistent top producing agent and have won the following awards: The Distinguished RE/MAX HALL OF FAME Award - 2016; RE/MAX PLATINUM CLUB Award - 2016 and 2017; RE/MAX 100% CLUB Award in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015; RE/MAX National Elite 500 agent - 2014, 2015 and 2016; the 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016 AND 2017 Five Star Real Estate Award Recipient as seen in Texas Monthly Magazine. For the entire state of Texas Vanguard Division for RE/MAX recently was ranked as follows: No. 7 - 3rd Qtr 2015, No. 12 - 2nd Qtr 2016, and most recently No. 17 - 2nd Qtr 2017 and No. 4!! - 4th Qtr 2017 to name just a past few of them. I have two beautiful children Kaily and Luke who I adore more than anything. When I am not selling real estate I spend my free time playing with my kids, attending kid functions, taking trips to the beach where we all love to crab and surf, playing golf with friends and volunteering in one the multiple local organizations I'm involved with including Rotary Beaumont, Nutrition and Services for Seniors (Currently President of the Board of Directors), Young Men's Business League (Currently on Nominating Committee among several other committees with the YMBL) and the Southeast Texas Aggie Club (Currently Immediate Past President of the Board of Directors and Membership Chairman). I look forward to very much look forwarded to continued growth and success even further as 2024 slowly starts to wind down and the 2025 year nears.
